Valen-Pie Party & Candle Making - February 14th
Grab your valentines - it's time to party!
Pie Bird Pies and Des Moines Mercantile are excited to host a special Valen-pies Party on Saturday, February 14. Join us for an evening of celebrating all things sweet and heart-themed at Des Moines Mercantile at either 5:30-7:00 or 7:30-9:00!
Sip on sherbet punch (NA version or punch with sparkling wine), snack on a heart-shaped hand pie (you get both double chocolate nutella and strawberry champagne), and make your very own candle. We will lead you through the candle making process as you pick and mix your seasonal-inspired scents—pie-inspired if you want!
Your time includes: two hand pies and sherbet punch from Pie Bird Pies, a candle vessel made by local pottery collective, Kunzler Studios (refillable at DSM Mercantile once empty), a candle made by yourself to bring home, and time for private shopping.
