January 26th Pie Party & Hand Quilting Workshop with Ben Millett

Join Pie Bird Pies and local quilt artist, Ben Millett at Des Moines Mercantile on January 26th! 

Ben Millett will get you started in creating Courthouse Steps Coasters by hand. You'll receive a kit to make two "quilt as you go" coasters, including fabric, thread, needles, and a zine. He highly recommends bringing your preferred hard-topped thimble, but will have some on-hand for you to test out if you're just starting. In the mean time, check out Ben's amazing work here! 

Pie Bird Pies will be offering Blueberry Lemon pie made from sweet blueberries laced with lemon and vanilla bean. It's a hug of sunshine on a cold winter day. It will be served with vanilla bean mascarpone whipped cream, too, of course! 

Des Moines Mercantile's signature coffee and tea will be served and there will be time for private shopping. ** Be sure to select “pick up” at check out so you don’t pay for shipping!**
